What you are buying
Know Thy Rivals is a weekly email and web page that reports what your competitors changed —
their prices, features, hiring, and how they describe themselves. You pay a subscription. You get
one brief each week.
Prices and how billing works
- Weekly Brief: $20 a month. Up to 5 rivals.
- Sector Brief: $25 a month. Adds the sector-by-sector market breakdown and
covers up to 10 rivals.
- First week: $1. You will not be charged again unless you keep the plan.
- No annual plans, no contracts, no cancellation fee.
- Billing repeats monthly. By starting a paid plan you agree to those repeat charges until you
cancel or we stop the service.
- You can cancel yourself, any time, from the account link in any email. The cancellation page
takes one click — we do not hide it or make you email us.
This is information, not advice
We tell you what we saw on public pages. We do not know your costs, your contracts, your market,
or your goals. No brief should be the only thing behind a business decision. We are
not lawyers, accountants, or your consultants, and nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice.
How we handle accuracy
- Every price and number in a brief is checked against a saved copy of the page we read that day.
If a figure is not in that saved copy, our system rejects the draft instead of shipping a guess.
- When a company does not publish a price, or blocks our check, the brief says so in plain words
instead of inventing a number.
- Pages change. A price we saw on Monday may be gone by Friday. Our reports are dated for that reason.
- If we get something wrong and you tell us, we will fix it and send you a corrected brief.
Rules for using the brief
- Your subscription covers one business. Do not resell, republish, or share logins.
- You may quote or share a short excerpt internally with your team, or publicly with credit and a
link back to us.
- We may stop service for abuse, with a pro-rated refund for the unused time.
The honest limitation: we aim to be accurate and we build the
system to prove what we report, but we cannot promise every page we read is correct or current. If a
report causes a problem, our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid us for the month in
question. We say it here plainly rather than buried in fine print.
Our end of the deal
- We try to keep the site and email working. If we go down for more than a week of a paid period,
tell us and we will refund or credit it.
- We may change prices. If we do, we tell existing subscribers at least 30 days ahead, and your
current price runs until then.
- We may stop offering the service with 30 days notice and refund any paid time you will not get.
- These terms are the whole agreement between us about the service, and they follow the laws of
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and United States federal law.
- If something bothers you, write to hello@knowthyrivals.com.
We would rather fix it than argue about it.
